Katy Perry Exposed Underwear Onstage at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2017
Katy
Perry got pretty racy
onstage at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2017 televised music
festival Saturday.
The pop songstress, who wore a sparkling
silver mini dress, flashed her white underwear onstage while squatting during
her performance. And speaking of squatting, Perry also got
pretty blunt while showing some empathy towards many concertgoers
struggling with an unfortunate side-effect of attending a concert.
"Some of you have to pee, right? I know I know I know. I
wear sometimes awful contraptions that don’t let me use the restroom. So I know
how you feel," she said. "But it is all about the music and that is
why we are holding in everything."
Perry then got somber and dedicated an
acoustic version of her song "Part of Me" to the victims of last
week's Manchester attack. A suicide bomber had killed 22 people, including
children, at the city's stadium after an Ariana
Grande concert.
"I think that you guys are beautiful and
I think that we are all extremely brave and we are all in this together, are we
not?" Perry said. "And you know what? We will still dance, we will
still sing, we will still make music. This next one goes out to Manchester and
to all the people that know what it means to love music and be a community
because of it."
"If you have not touched the person to our right or left
just do that. Just a little connection," she added. "Social
media cannot do that, can it? This is a part of us that they will never
take away from us. Rest in peace, Manchester."
